Souths Sports Club has proudly served the Acacia Ridge community for over 50 years, providing a safe, welcoming place for locals to connect, enjoy entertainment, and support grassroots sport—particularly rugby league.

In May 2017, Brisbane Racing Club assumed management of the Club and, in August 2018, invested $2.7 million in a major renovation. The result is a modern, family-friendly venue and thriving community hub that members are proud to call their club.

Our facilities include a large sports bar, three bars, a bistro, coffee shop, bottle shop, two dedicated kids’ rooms for all ages, and versatile function spaces, including an auditorium that comfortably seats over 450 guests. The Club also boasts 75 of the latest gaming machines, TAB, Keno, and regular bingo sessions for members' entertainment.

As a not-for-profit community club, we are deeply committed to giving back. The more successful Souths Sports Club is, the more we can support the Souths Junior Football Club and the wider community. We proudly contribute significant cash and in-kind support to local schools, sporting clubs, charities, and not-for-profit organisations.

We continue to work closely with local council, maintain strong relationships with schools and community groups, and actively create employment opportunities for local residents.

Souths Sports Club is now an integral part of the BRC Community Venues group, alongside Gallopers Sports Club in Ascot and The Gibson in Stafford.
